Auction result misses estimated price range
In September this year a collector was able to acquire the work Seascape by Carl Emil Baagöe for DKK 4,000.00 (€ 536.28). This price was achieved in the auction Paintings, furniture and varia at Bruun Rasmussen and was even below the estimate range of DKK 6,000.00 – 8,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Carl Emil Baagöe achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work “Hertha” and “Frederik” at anchor at Akureyri, Iceland in March this year with an auction result of DKK 120,000.00 (€ 16,103.75).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im September diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Seascape von Carl Emil Baagöe für DKK 4.000,00 (€ 536,28) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Carl Emil Baagöe erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit “Hertha” and “Frederik” at anchor at Akureyri, Iceland im März diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 120.000,00 (€ 16.103,75).
