The »bidding war« ended at SEK 3,200.00 (€ 357.16), 60% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Carin Nilson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Kvinnotorso in October 2009 with an auction result of SEK 32,000.00 (€ 3,075.30).

Die Arbeit Standing girl von Carin Nilson wurde im März 2011 in der Auktion Eclectic, Stockholm S197 bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von SEK 3.200,00 (€ 357,16) und damit 60% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Carin Nilson auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Kvinnotorso im Oktober 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 32.000,00 (€ 3.075,30).
