Auction result misses estimated price range
In January 2021 a collector was able to acquire the work A frigate off the coast by Charles Arthur Lodder for GBP 378.00 (€ 427.47). This price was achieved in the auction Royal & Noble at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 600.00 – 800.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Charles Arthur Lodder have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in May 2003 by the work Largs, the mouth of the Findhorn at GBP 470.00 (€ 654.83).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Januar 2021 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit A frigate off the coast von Charles Arthur Lodder für GBP 378,00 (€ 427,47) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Royal & Noble bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 600,00 – 800,00. Andere Arbeiten von Charles Arthur Lodder wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im Mai 2003 die Arbeit Largs, the mouth of the Findhorn mit GBP 470,00 (€ 654,83).
