A top price for Cao Yu
The work Calligraphy in Running Script by Cao Yu was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings auction at Christies in New York in September 2018. The »bidding war« ended at USD 1,750.00 (€ 1,505.76), 25% above the upper estimate. With this result, Calligraphy in Running Script is even the most expensive work of art by Cao Yu that we have observed at auctions so far.
