Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Various Animals by Cao Kejia was auctioned at Bonhams in December 2021. The price achieved of HKD 6,375.00 (€ 722.10) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 5,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Cao Kejia achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Cats And Flowers in October this year with an auction result of HKD 204,000.00 (€ 24,669.95).

Die Arbeit Various Animals von Cao Kejia kam im Dezember 2021 bei Bonhams zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 6.375,00 (€ 722,10) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 5.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Cao Kejia erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Cats And Flowers im Oktober diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 204.000,00 (€ 24.669,95).
