A top price for Cai Guangbin
In April 2016 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction The Origo Collection — Contemporary Ink Art, which included the work Window-Accumulation (Quadriptych) by Cai Guangbin. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 325,000.00 (€ 36,616.12), 30% above the upper estimate. With this result, Window-Accumulation (Quadriptych) is even the most expensive work of art by Cai Guangbin that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im April 2016 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion The Origo Collection — Contemporary Ink Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Window-Accumulation (Quadriptych) von Cai Guangbin zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 325.000,00 (€ 36.616,12) und damit 30% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist Window-Accumulation (Quadriptych) sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Cai Guangbin, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
