Auction result well in line with expectations
In December last year Artcurial held the auction Urban & Pop Contemporary Online, which included the work R2D2 - 2016 by C215. It changed hands for a price of EUR 1,968.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by C215 achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sans Titre, 2012 in January 2013 with an auction result of EUR 23,167.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember letzten Jahres führte Artcurial die Auktion Urban & Pop Contemporary Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit R2D2 - 2016 von C215 zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 1.968,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von C215 erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sans Titre, 2012 im Januar 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 23.167,00.
