Auction result fails to reach estimate
In July this year a collector was able to acquire the work Town scenery with a thatched house and a horse carriage outside the door by C. O. Zeuthen for DKK 2,600.00 (€ 348.71). This price was achieved in the auction Paintings, furniture and varia at Bruun Rasmussen and was even lower than the DKK 3,000.00 estimate set by the auction house. Other works by C. O. Zeuthen have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in March this year by the work “Roeskilde Domkirke at DKK 4,000.00 (€ 536.79).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Im Juli diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Town scenery with a thatched house and a horse carriage outside the door von C. O. Zeuthen für DKK 2.600,00 (€ 348,71) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb des vom Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreises von DKK 3.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von C. O. Zeuthen wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im März diesen Jahres die Arbeit “Roeskilde Domkirke mit DKK 4.000,00 (€ 536,79).
