Auction result misses estimated price range
In May 2018 a collector was able to acquire the work Scorcio del Lago Maggiore by Bruto Mazzolani for EUR 1,800.00. This price was achieved in the auction Dipinti e sculture XIX e XX Secolo at Il Ponte and was even below the estimate range of EUR 2,000.00 – 2,200.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Bruto Mazzolani - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Nudo femminile, which sold at auction in May 2016 for EUR 4,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai 2018 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Scorcio del Lago Maggiore von Bruto Mazzolani für EUR 1.800,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Dipinti e sculture XIX e XX Secolo bei Il Ponte erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 2.000,00 – 2.200,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Bruto Mazzolani mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Nudo femminile beobachtet, die im Mai 2016 für EUR 4.500,00 versteigert wurde.
