Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Fox on duck hunting by Bruno Liljefors was auctioned at Bukowski in December this year, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 150,000.00 – 175,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 125,000.00 (€ 11,243.45). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bruno Liljefors achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Rävar" (Foxes) in June 2016 with an auction result of SEK 5,500,000.00 (€ 586,294.42).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Fox on duck hunting von Bruno Liljefors im Dezember diesen Jahres bei Bukowski versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 150.000,00 – 175.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 125.000,00 (€ 11.243,45) den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Bruno Liljefors erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "Rävar" (Foxes) im Juni 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 5.500.000,00 (€ 586.294,42).
