Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A couple in front of a mosque by Bruno Caruso was auctioned at Christies in New York in October 2010. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 700.00 – 900.00, the actual price achieved of USD 750.00 (€ 539.80) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Bruno Caruso have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Il canto dell'isteria in December 2013 with an auction result of EUR 3,600.00.

Die Arbeit A couple in front of a mosque von Bruno Caruso kam im Oktober 2010 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 700,00 – 900,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 750,00 (€ 539,80) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Bruno Caruso auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Il canto dell'isteria im Dezember 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 3.600,00.
