Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2020 a collector was able to acquire the work March 17, 1959, 1959 by Bruce Conner for USD 11,950.00 (€ 10,640.19). This price was achieved in the auction Made in CaliforniaContemporary Art at Bonhams in Los Angeles and was even below the estimate range of USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bruce Conner achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Cannabis Collage in November 2016 with an auction result of USD 631,500.00 (€ 596,993.76).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2020 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit March 17, 1959, 1959 von Bruce Conner für USD 11.950,00 (€ 10.640,19) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Made in CaliforniaContemporary Art bei Bonhams in Los Angeles erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Bruce Conner erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Cannabis Collage im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 631.500,00 (€ 596.993,76).
