A top price for Bridget Riley
The work Untitled (Diagonal Curve) by Bridget Riley was sold in the Defining British Art Evening Sale auction at Christies in London in June 2016. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 4,338,500.00 (€ 5,207,615.75), 24% above the upper estimate. With this result, Untitled (Diagonal Curve) is even the most expensive work of art by Bridget Riley that we have observed at auctions so far.
