In the Including the Bar-Gera Collection of Soviet Non-Conformist Art auction, the work Winter Landscape sold for GBP 10,625.00 (€ 12,536.46) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Boris Vasilievich Bessonov - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Early Sun In Dauphiné, which sold at auction in June 2008 for GBP 27,500.00 (€ 34,760.92).
