Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Russian autumnal Road by Boris Sveshnikov was sold in the Contemporary East auction at Sothebys in London in June 2016. The price achieved of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 12,003.26) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Boris Sveshnikov have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Russian Love In Winter, Circa Early 1950S in April 2008 with an auction result of USD 181,000.00 (€ 116,264.13).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Russian autumnal Road von Boris Sveshnikov wurde im Juni 2016 in der Auktion Contemporary East bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 10.000,00 (€ 12.003,26) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Boris Sveshnikov auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Russian Love In Winter, Circa Early 1950S im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 181.000,00 (€ 116.264,13).
