This artwork by Boris Sveshnikov achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in May this year. In the Rebel Spirits, Part IINon-conformist art from Important European Collections auction, the work Actualités d'octobre/ October news sans cadre sold for EUR 14,025.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Boris Sveshnikov have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Russian Love In Winter, Circa Early 1950S in April 2008 with an auction result of USD 181,000.00 (€ 116,264.13).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Boris Sveshnikov erzielte im Mai diesen Jahres bei Bonhams einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Rebel Spirits, Part IINon-conformist art from Important European Collections wurde die Arbeit Actualités d'octobre/ October news sans cadre für EUR 14.025,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 7.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Boris Sveshnikov auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Russian Love In Winter, Circa Early 1950S im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 181.000,00 (€ 116.264,13).
