The work Night Awakening by Boris Sveshnikov was sold in the Including the Bar-Gera Collection of Soviet Non-Conformist Art auction at Sothebys in London in November 2016. The auction ended at the price of GBP 20,000.00 (€ 23,598.03), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Admittedly, works by Boris Sveshnikov have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Russian Love In Winter, Circa Early 1950S in April 2008 with an auction result of USD 181,000.00 (€ 116,264.13).

Die Arbeit Night Awakening von Boris Sveshnikov wurde im November 2016 in der Auktion Including the Bar-Gera Collection of Soviet Non-Conformist Art bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 20.000,00 (€ 23.598,03) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Boris Sveshnikov auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Russian Love In Winter, Circa Early 1950S im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 181.000,00 (€ 116.264,13).
