Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2021 Sothebys in London held the auction Post-War and Contemporary Russian Art from a Private Collection, which included the work Arabesque by Boris Sveshnikov. The price achieved of GBP 12,600.00 (€ 15,029.16) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Boris Sveshnikov have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Russian Love In Winter, Circa Early 1950S in April 2008 with an auction result of USD 181,000.00 (€ 116,264.13).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2021 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Russian Art from a Private Collection durch, in der auch die Arbeit Arabesque von Boris Sveshnikov zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 12.600,00 (€ 15.029,16) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Boris Sveshnikov auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Russian Love In Winter, Circa Early 1950S im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 181.000,00 (€ 116.264,13).
