Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Boris Pastoukhoff could be acquired at Sothebys in Olympia in June 2006 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Russian auction, the work Still Life With Tulips changed hands for GBP 1,320.00 (€ 1,910.02) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Boris Pastoukhoff have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Summer flowers; and Wildflowers in September 2008 with an auction result of GBP 9,375.00 (€ 11,853.74).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Boris Pastoukhoff konnte im Juni 2006 bei Sothebys in Olympia für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Russian wechselte die Arbeit Still Life With Tulips für GBP 1.320,00 (€ 1.910,02) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Boris Pastoukhoff auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Summer flowers; and Wildflowers im September 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 9.375,00 (€ 11.853,74).
