Auction result fails to reach estimate
This work of art by Børge Nyrop could be acquired at Bruun Rasmussen in April this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Paintings, furniture and varia auction, the work Coastal scenery with whitecaps changed hands for DKK 1,000.00 (€ 134.15) - just shy of the DKK 2,000.00 estimate. Admittedly, works by Børge Nyrop have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Steeplechase in November 2008 with an auction result of GBP 750.00 (€ 906.81).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Dieses Kunstwerk von Børge Nyrop konnte im April diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia wechselte die Arbeit Coastal scenery with whitecaps für DKK 1.000,00 (€ 134,15) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit den Schätzpreis von DKK 2.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Børge Nyrop auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Steeplechase im November 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 750,00 (€ 906,81).
