In November 2018 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Pictures, which included the work Russian Troops Awaiting Orders by Bogdan Pavlovich Villevalde. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 75,000.00 (€ 84,597.72), 25% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Bogdan Pavlovich Villevalde have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Three Works Depicting The Siege Of Silistria in June 2014 with an auction result of GBP 362,500.00 (€ 452,926.41).

Im November 2018 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Russian Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Russian Troops Awaiting Orders von Bogdan Pavlovich Villevalde zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 75.000,00 (€ 84.597,72) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Bogdan Pavlovich Villevalde auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Three Works Depicting The Siege Of Silistria im Juni 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 362.500,00 (€ 452.926,41).
