Auction result misses estimated price range
In February 2020 a collector was able to acquire the work Lainee by Bob Carlos Clarke for GBP 5,625.00 (€ 6,519.39). This price was achieved in the auction Erotic Online at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Bob Carlos Clarke - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work 'Vanessa And Vicky Kissing', 2002, which sold at auction in February 2017 for GBP 13,750.00 (€ 16,092.60).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Februar 2020 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Lainee von Bob Carlos Clarke für GBP 5.625,00 (€ 6.519,39) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Erotic Online bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Bob Carlos Clarke mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit 'Vanessa And Vicky Kissing', 2002 beobachtet, die im Februar 2017 für GBP 13.750,00 (€ 16.092,60) versteigert wurde.
