Auction result well in line with expectations
The work For Dolls That Do Dishes, 2004 by Bob Carlos Clarke was sold in the Made in Britain / Online auction at Sothebys in London in November 2018. The price achieved of GBP 6,000.00 (€ 6,767.82) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Bob Carlos Clarke - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work 'Vanessa And Vicky Kissing', 2002, which sold at auction in February 2017 for GBP 13,750.00 (€ 16,092.60).

Die Arbeit For Dolls That Do Dishes, 2004 von Bob Carlos Clarke wurde im November 2018 in der Auktion Made in Britain / Online bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 6.000,00 (€ 6.767,82) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Bob Carlos Clarke mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit 'Vanessa And Vicky Kissing', 2002 beobachtet, die im Februar 2017 für GBP 13.750,00 (€ 16.092,60) versteigert wurde.
