Auction result well in line with expectations
The work DIVER BIRD AND CATFISH, CIRCA 1960 by Bob Bilinyara was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in December 2020. The price achieved of USD 2,520.00 (€ 2,060.51) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 2,000.00 – 4,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Bob Bilinyara - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Diver Bird And Catfish, which sold at auction in December 2019 for USD 6,250.00 (€ 5,566.94).
