Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Bishin Jumonji could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in September 2017 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Postwar and Contemporary Photographs auction, the work Last Moments changed hands for USD 8,125.00 (€ 6,878.02) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Other works by Bishin Jumonji have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in April 2017 by the work Untitled 11 at USD 9,375.00 (€ 8,604.86).
