In October 2014 Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction The Modern Sale, which included the work "Flicka med cigarett" (Girl with cigarette) by Birger Simonsson. The result of SEK 50,000.00 (€ 5,391.06) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Other works by Birger Simonsson have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2019 the work "Fröken Lundén" was auctioned for SEK 70,000.00 (€ 6,632.18).

Im Oktober 2014 führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion The Modern Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit "Flicka med cigarett" (Girl with cigarette) von Birger Simonsson zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von SEK 50.000,00 (€ 5.391,06) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 50.000,00 – 70.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Birger Simonsson konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November 2019 die Arbeit "Fröken Lundén" für SEK 70.000,00 (€ 6.632,18) versteigert.
