A top price for Bipin Behari Goswami - as previously expected
In September 2019 Christies in New York held the auction South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art, which included the work Untitled (Mother and Child) by Bipin Behari Goswami. It changed hands for a price of USD 2,750.00 (€ 2,521.78) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Untitled (Mother and Child) is the most expensive artwork by Bipin Behari Goswami that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im September 2019 führte Christies in New York die Auktion South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled (Mother and Child) von Bipin Behari Goswami zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 2.750,00 (€ 2.521,78) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Untitled (Mother and Child) das teuerste Kunstwerk von Bipin Behari Goswami, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
