A top price for Bill Komoski - as previously expected
In July 2019 Sothebys in New York held the auction Colossal! Monumental Works from the 1980s, which included the work Two Vertical Bands With White Ellipses by Bill Komoski. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 1,000.00 – 2,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 1,125.00 (€ 1,010.78) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Two Vertical Bands With White Ellipses is the most expensive artwork by Bill Komoski that we have observed at auctions so far.

Monumental Works from the 1980s durch, in der auch die Arbeit Two Vertical Bands With White Ellipses von Bill Komoski zur Versteigerung kam.
