Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Bill Gold could be acquired at Christies in London in May 2013 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Vintage Posters auction, the work The Outlaw Josey Wales changed hands for GBP 687.50 (€ 803.79) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Bill Gold - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work "Dial M For Murder", which sold at auction in November 2015 for GBP 2,125.00 (€ 3,026.75).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Bill Gold konnte im Mai 2013 bei Christies in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Vintage Posters wechselte die Arbeit The Outlaw Josey Wales für GBP 687,50 (€ 803,79) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Bill Gold mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit "Dial M For Murder" beobachtet, die im November 2015 für GBP 2.125,00 (€ 3.026,75) versteigert wurde.
