Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Beth Laurin could be acquired at Bukowski in Stockholm in October this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Böttiger Collection H067 auction, the work "Sculpture II" changed hands for SEK 9,000.00 (€ 762.21) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 12,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Beth Laurin - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work "Sculpture I", which sold at auction in October this year for SEK 20,000.00 (€ 1,693.79).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Beth Laurin konnte im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Bukowski in Stockholm für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Böttiger Collection H067 wechselte die Arbeit "Sculpture II" für SEK 9.000,00 (€ 762,21) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 12.000,00 – 15.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Beth Laurin mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit "Sculpture I" beobachtet, die im Oktober diesen Jahres für SEK 20.000,00 (€ 1.693,79) versteigert wurde.
