Sold at the lower estimate price
In December 2019 Christies in Paris held the auction Post-War and Contemporary Art vente du jour, which included the work Express by Bertrand Lavier. The result of EUR 25,000.00 was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Admittedly, works by Bertrand Lavier have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Atomium, 2007 in November 2021 with an auction result of EUR 162,500.00.
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im Dezember 2019 führte Christies in Paris die Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art vente du jour durch, in der auch die Arbeit Express von Bertrand Lavier zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 25.000,00 entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 25.000,00 – 35.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Bertrand Lavier auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Atomium, 2007 im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 162.500,00.
