Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work View from a river with trees, in the background a village by Berta Schrader was auctioned at Bruun Rasmussen in April this year, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of DKK 8,000.00 – 10,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for DKK 4,600.00 (€ 617.08). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Berta Schrader achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work „Am Mordgrund“ (Dresden). in December 2020 with an auction result of EUR 16,250.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit View from a river with trees, in the background a village von Berta Schrader im April diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von DKK 8.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für DKK 4.600,00 (€ 617,08) den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Berta Schrader erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit „Am Mordgrund“ (Dresden). im Dezember 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 16.250,00.
