This artwork by Benno Kögl achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in April 2004. In the British and Continental Pictures auction, the work A Heartfelt Plea sold for GBP 657.25 (€ 590.49) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 300.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Benno Kögl; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Drei Kätzchen mit Schmetterling sold at auction in May 2015 with the realized price of EUR 875.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Benno Kögl erzielte im April 2004 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion British and Continental Pictures wurde die Arbeit A Heartfelt Plea für GBP 657,25 (€ 590,49) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 300,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Benno Kögl; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Drei Kätzchen mit Schmetterling im Mai 2015 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 875,00.
