In December 2014 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction The I.Q. van Regteren Altena Collection Part II. Dutch and Flemish Drawings from 1500-1900, which included the work Portrait Of A Young Man, Bust-Length, Turned To The Right, In A Black Doublet And White Lace Collar by Bernard Vaillant. It changed hands for a price of EUR 3,750.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 3,000.00 – 4,000.00.
