Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2021 Sothebys in Paris held the auction Contemporary Curated, which included this untitled work by Bernard Réquichot. The price achieved of EUR 15,120.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Admittedly, works by Bernard Réquichot have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Reliquaire Des Rencontres De Campagne in September 2018 with an auction result of EUR 150,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2021 führte Sothebys in Paris die Auktion Contemporary Curated durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Bernard Réquichot zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 15.120,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Bernard Réquichot auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Reliquaire Des Rencontres De Campagne im September 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 150.000,00.
