This artwork by Bernard Quentin achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in Paris in March 2010. In the Contemporary Art auction, the work Poeme-Espace, 1991 sold for EUR 638.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 300.00. Admittedly, works by Bernard Quentin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Composition, 1951 in July 2010 with an auction result of EUR 5,355.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Bernard Quentin erzielte im März 2010 bei Artcurial in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Poeme-Espace, 1991 für EUR 638,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 300,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Bernard Quentin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Composition, 1951 im Juli 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 5.355,00.
