Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 298.75 (€ 451.48) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 200.00 – 400.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bernard Louis Borione achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A lesson from the cardinal in October 2000 with an auction result of GBP 5,640.00 (€ 9,640.37).
