Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Bernard Pfriem could be acquired at Christies in London in October 2005 for an unexpectedly low price. In the British and Continental Pictures auction, the work Les Jongleurs changed hands for GBP 180.00 (€ 265.45) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 300.00 – 500.00. Admittedly, works by Bernard Pfriem have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Red Rising Up in April 2015 with an auction result of USD 1,750.00 (€ 1,567.82).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Bernard Pfriem konnte im Oktober 2005 bei Christies in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion British and Continental Pictures wechselte die Arbeit Les Jongleurs für GBP 180,00 (€ 265,45) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 300,00 – 500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Bernard Pfriem auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Red Rising Up im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.750,00 (€ 1.567,82).
