Auction result fails to reach estimate
In January 2024 a collector was able to acquire the work “Sevilla 12”, 2009 by Bentemarie Kjeldbæk for DKK 2,000.00 (€ 1,747.95). This price was achieved in the auction Modern art and design at Bruun Rasmussen and was even lower than the DKK 4,000.00 estimate set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Bentemarie Kjeldbæk - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work “La Boqueria 8”, which sold at auction in January 2024 for DKK 7,000.00 (€ 6,117.81).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Im Januar 2024 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit “Sevilla 12”, 2009 von Bentemarie Kjeldbæk für DKK 2.000,00 (€ 1.747,95) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern art and design bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb des vom Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreises von DKK 4.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Bentemarie Kjeldbæk mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit “La Boqueria 8” beobachtet, die im Januar 2024 für DKK 7.000,00 (€ 6.117,81) versteigert wurde.
