Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Elements Libres Ask N°29, 1992 by Benoit Luyckx was sold in the Contemporary Art auction at Artcurial in Paris in July 2010. It changed hands for a price of EUR 893.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 700.00 – 900.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Benoit Luyckx - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Propulsion Vii, 1988, which sold at auction in October 2011 for EUR 3,060.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Elements Libres Ask N°29, 1992 von Benoit Luyckx wurde im Juli 2010 in der Auktion Contemporary Art bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 893,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 700,00 – 900,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Benoit Luyckx mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Propulsion Vii, 1988 beobachtet, die im Oktober 2011 für EUR 3.060,00 versteigert wurde.
