In September 2013 Christies in London held the auction The Collection of Professor Sir Albert Richardson, P.R.A., which included the work Mallard ducks, a hare, a pheasant and partridges in a larder; and Pheasants, snipe, a lobster and a plaice with vessels in a larder by Benjamin Blake. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 1,625.00 (€ 1,942.44), 35% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Benjamin Blake - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Game In A Larder; And A Hare With Other Game, which sold at auction in March 2006 for GBP 3,360.00 (€ 4,814.27).

Im September 2013 führte Christies in London die Auktion The Collection of Professor Sir Albert Richardson, P.R.A. durch, in der auch die Arbeit Mallard ducks, a hare, a pheasant and partridges in a larder; and Pheasants, snipe, a lobster and a plaice with vessels in a larder von Benjamin Blake zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 1.625,00 (€ 1.942,44) und damit 35% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Benjamin Blake mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Game In A Larder; And A Hare With Other Game beobachtet, die im März 2006 für GBP 3.360,00 (€ 4.814,27) versteigert wurde.
