Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2005 Christies in London held the auction British and Continental Pictures, which included the work Lilacs in a vase, with a bowl to the side, on a table by Béla Balogh. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 300.00 – 500.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 336.00 (€ 497.33) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Béla Balogh have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2006 the work Still Life With Fruit And Flowers was auctioned for GBP 420.00 (€ 613.06).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2005 führte Christies in London die Auktion British and Continental Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Lilacs in a vase, with a bowl to the side, on a table von Béla Balogh zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 300,00 – 500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 336,00 (€ 497,33) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Béla Balogh konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2006 die Arbeit Still Life With Fruit And Flowers für GBP 420,00 (€ 613,06) versteigert.
