Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Marsupilami by Batem was auctioned at Artcurial in Paris in February 2023. It changed hands for a price of EUR 787 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 600 - 800. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Batem achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work in June 2017 with an auction result of EUR 11,250.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Marsupilami von Batem kam im Februar 2023 bei Artcurial in Paris zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 787 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 600 – 800. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Batem erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit im Juni 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 11.250.
