Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2002 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS & DRAWINGS INCLUDING FLOWER PICTURES, which included the work Peasants in a kitchen interior by Baruch Lopes Leao de Laguna. The price achieved of EUR 3,585.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 3,200.00 – 3,800.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Baruch Lopes Leao de Laguna - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A Flower Still Life With Violets In A Gingerpot, which sold at auction in March 2007 for EUR 8,400.00.

Im Juni 2002 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS & DRAWINGS INCLUDING FLOWER PICTURES durch, in der auch die Arbeit Peasants in a kitchen interior von Baruch Lopes Leao de Laguna zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 3.585,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 3.200,00 – 3.800,00 angegeben worden.
