A top price for Bartolomeo Coriolano - as previously expected
The work Two Sybils by Bartolomeo Coriolano was sold in the Old Master Prints auction at Christies in New York in January 2019. The price achieved of USD 1,875.00 (€ 1,636.98) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,500.00 – 2,500.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Two Sybils is the most expensive artwork by Bartolomeo Coriolano that we have observed at auctions so far.
