The price achieved of GBP 43,750.00 (€ 48,741.38) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bartolommeo Cincani achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Risen Christ in January 2002 with an auction result of USD 534,000.00 (€ 621,363.74).
