The price achieved of GBP 3,666,500.00 (€ 4,624,609.30) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000,000.00 – 5,000,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, The Sacrifice Of Isaac is the most expensive artwork by Bartolomeo Cavarozzi that we have observed at auctions so far.
