Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2015 a collector was able to acquire the work Spadino by Bartolomeo Castelli I for EUR 12,000.00. This price was achieved in the auction Furnishings and Old Master Paintings - Art Objects and Musical Instruments at Il Ponte and was even below the estimate range of EUR 15,000.00 – 18,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Bartolomeo Castelli I - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Plums, grapes, apples and other fruit in a glass bowl and scattered on a ledge, with a fragment of classical sculpture, which sold at auction in July 2019 for GBP 35,000.00 (€ 38,427.67).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April 2015 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Spadino von Bartolomeo Castelli I für EUR 12.000,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Furnishings and Old Master Paintings - Art Objects and Musical Instruments bei Il Ponte erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 15.000,00 – 18.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Bartolomeo Castelli I mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Plums, grapes, apples and other fruit in a glass bowl and scattered on a ledge, with a fragment of classical sculpture beobachtet, die im Juli 2019 für GBP 35.000,00 (€ 38.427,67) versteigert wurde.
