In the Important Old Master Paintings, Including European Works of Art auction, the work Interior Of A Vaulted Church sold for USD 110,500.00 (€ 86,301.16) - well above the upper estimate of USD 60,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Bartholomeus van Bassen; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Eine festliche Gesellschaft am Tisch in einem Renaissance-Saal. sold at auction in September 2007 with the realized price of CHF 192,000.00 (€ 115,680.71).
