Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2011 Christies in London held the auction Old Master & Early British Drawings & Watercolours, which included the work A spray of white briar roses, a yellow-white delphinium, morning glory and red poppy in a vase on a ledge, with a burnet moth; and A white carnation, stephanotis, blue delphinium, lilac and nasturtium in a vase on a ledge by Barbara Regina Dietzsch. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 6,250.00 (€ 7,172.81) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Barbara Regina Dietzsch - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sechs Eidechsen., which sold at auction in December 2009 for EUR 25,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2011 führte Christies in London die Auktion Old Master & Early British Drawings & Watercolours durch, in der auch die Arbeit A spray of white briar roses, a yellow-white delphinium, morning glory and red poppy in a vase on a ledge, with a burnet moth; and A white carnation, stephanotis, blue delphinium, lilac and nasturtium in a vase on a ledge von Barbara Regina Dietzsch zur Versteigerung kam.
